Planning on going to College? You MUST complete the FAFSA.
To receive financial assistance in the form of grants, loans, and work study, you must complete the FAFSA. More information on the FAFSA can be obtained at www.fafsa.ed.gov. There should never be a charge associated with filling out the FAFSA. You may fill out the FAFSA for the 2021-2022 school year beginning on October 1st. A FSA ID must be created before filing your FAFSA.
Information you will need to complete the FAFSA includes: federal income tax returns, W-2s, and other records of money earned
Note: You may be able to transfer your federal tax return information into your FAFSA automatically using the IRS Data Retrieval Tool
The counseling department will send out notifications through email as new scholarship opportunities come through our office. It is YOUR responsibility to find and complete scholarships, however, the counseling department is happy to help you through this process! Be sure to check the websites of the colleges you are interested in attending for their scholarships.
